Some recent sentiments about RBT training...

Also, I have an almost 12 year old with Autism. I have lived it, as you say. 2 years ago I started doing ABA therapy with children with autism. I had 40 hours of training and am now a certified RBT. I know more now than I did before, in many ways. There are a lot of RBTs that I work with who know just as much, bit lack the personal experience with Autism. I would say I'm well-rounded. As just a mom of a kiddo with Autism, not an RBT, I would not have been able to tell you the 4 functions of behavior, what an Antecedent is, how to collect data....Being an RBT has made it so I can help my son more than I've ever thought possible because I know more of the dynamics of ABA.

I am so glad I picked Verbal Behavior Institute for my RBT training. The instructor is caring a very passionate about teaching ABA. You can print out each lesson and follow along easily. They respond QUICKLY to any concerns or questions you have even after you finished the class. I absolutely recommend this to anyone interested in getting their RBT.

After watching this video I was re-thinking my career choice. My heart was breaking and I was angry. I am so glad that the instructor informed me it was a great video in what NOT to do and that ABA has come a long way.

Stacey

I finished the training! Thank you very much for the program and for answering all of my questions. The Verbal Behavior Institute has been great. Is there a certificate/and or a quiz (other than the exam with BACB)?

Rachel

That was a great deal of information introducing ABA!
