The Registered Behavior Technician™ (RBT) is a great step in introducing the technology of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to a non-certified audience like parents or educators. Many parents and educators working with BCBAs are often confounded by the terminology and concepts of ABA (e.g., functions of behavior, reinforcement, etc.)
This is an opportunity that parents can access at their own pace, in the comfort of their own home or office that teaches ABA principles and best practices.
The training is also a great opportunity to advance the careers of teaching assistants or people who work with individuals with Autism but do not have college degrees. Or, for family members needing state-of-the-art strategies for helping loved one.
