How to Prepare Your Staff During Summer Months

40-hour training registered behavior technician registered behavior technician accreditation Jul 18, 2021

For staff working during the summer months, what better way to prepare for the new school year than to increase their skills through remote training? Throughout much of the country, staff, as well as children and their parents, are aching to get back to life as normal. The thing is "normal" might not be what we knew before the pandemic. Children with problem behavior, for example, have largely remained out of the classroom for the past school year. This will create some challenges as they return to school.

Here is an opportunity to offer 40-hours of online, evidence-based training to educators that can lead to the highly sought-after Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential. The RBT credential is the gold standard for staff who seek to work with children with developmental disabilities and Autism. Our RBT training offers training in Applied Behavior Analysis that is helpful in assisting the classroom teachers and aides in maintaining "instructional control" even with children with special needs.

Our company, Verbal Behavior Institute (VBI), is a continuing education provider (ACE Provider #: OP-07-0134) approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), a national accrediting organization.

A Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) is a paraprofessional who practices under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT’s primary responsibility is the direct implementation of treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA. The RBT® credential requires applicants to meet minimum age and education standards, obtain 40 hours of acceptable training, successfully complete a Competency Assessment, and a criminal background check then passes the RBT Exam.

For only $99 we offer a competency-based, researched training curriculum that will lead to better outcomes in your classrooms. You owe it to yourself to learn more about the opportunities available through this RBT training course.
