Updated RBT SKILL ACQUISTION modules.
May 15, 2023My name is Terry Blackwell Jr., Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-L (NY) 1-03-1234), licensed school principal, founder of Verbal Behavior Institute and creator of the 40-hour Online RBT Training course. The reason I am writing is to tell you about a new, enhanced upgrade to our 40-hour online RBT® course.
Recently, I spent a week and had the pleasure of working with two of the finest, most talented BCBAs I know. We spoke at length about how to improve the effectiveness of the RBT® coursework. The consensus was the need to improve the SKILL ACQUISTION modules. More specifically, how to make certain that the Skill Acquisition section teach learners exactly what that Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation looks like.
As you can imagine, that conversation created a challenge. What, where and how could we create "best practice" content and integrate it into an upgraded curriculum. So, for the next three days, our BCBA trainers, videographer and software developer set up a base camp in New York City. We recorded dozens of hours of content that would be edited down to the key information that would be the Online RBT Training v2.9.
