How to Prepare Your Staff During Summer Months

For staff working during the summer months, what better way to prepare for the new school year than to increase their skills through remote training? Throughout much of the country, staff, as well as children and their parents, are aching to get back to life as normal. Learn How To Start RBT Training

Before we discuss how to start RBT training, let us first discuss what is an RBT. A Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). The RBT is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behaviour-analytic services. The RBT does not design intervention or assessment plans. It is the responsibility of the RBT supervisor to determine which tasks an RBT may perform as a function of his or her training, experience, and competence. The BCBA supervising the RBT is responsible for the work performed by the RBT on the cases they are overseeing.

The RBT training course is 100% online, with recorded videos so you learn at your own pace from any internet-connected device like a computer, tablet or smartphone.

The course is taught by Vivian Attanasio, a Licensed Behavior Analyst. Ms Attanasio has been in the field of special needs for over...
